Criminal Justice is Broken.
Together, we can all impact it.
Impartial, a 501(c)(3), exists to co-create support for US criminal justice non-profits.
Our values are: community, transparency, innovation, and a long view at possibilities.
Every aspect of criminal justice in America has serious problems. Policing, the courts, our jails, how minorities and the poor are treated, our laws, sentencing guidelines, how we administer justice, mechanisms for rehabilitation and re-entry to society – literally, every single thing has significant room for improvement, and we as a country and society pay a steep price for what’s wrong.
Each of us has our own way of creating our unique criminal justice impact.
You should know how the US criminal justice system affects you and how you can help.
Impartial advocates for change through learning and connecting with like-minded people and organizations that already have a well-defined criminal justice mission. Hopefully, we make it easier, more enjoyable and impactful for you to find your place in creating the difference you want to see.
