Description
Jeb’s art reflects a lifetime full of adventure and exploration. After growing up on a Kansas farm, he served in the military, lived in Hawaii, studied acupuncture, and spent 17 years as a boat captain traveling the world. Now, he paints scenes that remind him of the places he’s lived and the experiences he treasures.
Each matte canvas comes with a back hanging included for easy placement. Made with durable cotton and a special coating, it ensures vibrant prints that last. Soft rubber dots in the back corners provide ample support for secure hanging. Though he misses the excitement of his earlier years, Jeb, a current prison artist, remains optimistic and lively, finding joy in each brushstroke and the memories it brings. In “Shrimp Boat Resting,” he depicts a breathtaking sunset reminiscent of those on the South Carolina coast. The scene represents the simple luxuries of life, like a cold beer, which he hopes to return to after his incarceration.
