There are many ways to get involved in supporting Impartial’s mission, and we will continue expanding the formal channels and opportunities to improve criminal justice outcomes.
Become a Member
Becoming a supporting member is one of the easiest ways to help with our work, and it comes with many benefits beyond just making a contribution to our publishing, operations and funding of criminal justice non-profits.
Your membership makes you part of a like-minded community, When you join us, you support our investigative journalism and stories of justice/injustice, get discounts off Impartial products, become a subscriber to our newsletter, and gain first access to preview and purchase new prison artwork. You may also be invited to participate in Focus groups from time to time.
As our capability to conduct independent research grows, we also plan to add exclusive member content (not available at this time).

Though the criminal justice system is often invisible to most people (until it touches your life and isn’t), it is one of the most important elements of a fair, safe and healthy society.
How we treat victims, the accused, and those found guilty of crime says a lot about us as a society.

Volunteer
We have many opportunities to volunteer with Impartial, from conducting research, writing reports or for our blog, creation of infographics, social media engagement, helping to support our website and technology requirements, cataloging our artwork and many other aspects of our operations and outreach. We also welcome ideas for things not listed here that can help further our mission.
