Diane Wells was falsely accused of financial crimes and spent years fighting a legal system that was determined to win a guilty verdict, regardless of the facts. This is her personal story, from the initial accusations, through discovery and grand jury hearing to the police and prosecutorial behaviors, all the way to trial, conviction, and picking up the pieces.
Through the years that this process dragged on, Diane lost her career, her marriage, and suffered financial disaster and inordinate stress on herself and her family.
No apology has ever been offered to Diane, and some members of the judicial system still believe she is guilty, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
